Hello, I'm Bec

I’m a lifestyle & family photographer based out of Mount Maunganui and Havelock North, New Zealand. I am passionate about capturing the beauty in the moments that would otherwise go unseen—authentic, honest storytelling captured as it unfolds before me. My passion also extends to capturing properties, where I aim to highlight their unique charm and character, showcasing each space in its truest form to tell its own beautiful story.  

I'm a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend. My vibe: relaxed, easy-going, playful, honest and respectful.

My little family consists of Joel (hubby), Beau & Aisha, and a big fur ball German Shepherd called Ziggy. Raised on a deer farm in the Kaimais, which I loved, I always dreamt of living at the beach. Pre kids, most of my working career was in the real estate industry, doing office administration/marketing jobs. I tried to sell houses, but noooo I hated it! Although I loved the property industry, and am stoked to be back in the industry in the creative field. I have lived and worked in London, which was absolutely epic! Traveled loads! 

In 2019, I married Joel, I then started a business called Gorge www.gorgemagazines.co.nz . Because I couldn't find a modern album to store my wedding photos in. This shaped to be the perfect home job for me whilst being pregnant through 2019/2020 and then working as a stay at home mum. Gorge still lives on today, if you want to check it out.

After looking at millions of photos taken by incredible photographers for 5+ years, I only just realised my newfound career as a photographer in April 2023. I'm self-taught and have always had a creative streak in my blood. Being a people person, I quickly learned I had found my passion. I literally love this job so much and I can't wait to to work with you.
