Hello, I'm Bec

I’m a family and lifestyle photographer based out of Mount Maunganui and Havelock North, New Zealand. I am passionate about capturing the beauty in the moments that would otherwise go unseen. Authentic, honest storytelling captured as it unfolds before me. 

I'm a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend. My vibe: relaxed, easy-going, playful, honest and respectful.

My little family consists of Joel (hubby), Beau (nearly 4) & Aisha (nearly 2), and a big fur ball German Shepherd called Ziggy. Raised on a deer farm in the Kaimais, which I loved, I always dreamt of living at the beach. Most of my working career was in the real estate industry, doing office administration type jobs. I tried to sell houses, but noooo I hated it! I have lived and worked in London, which was absolutely epic! Traveled loads! 

5 years ago, I married Joel, I then started a business called Gorge www.gorgemagazines.co.nz . Because I couldn't find a modern album to store my wedding photos in. This shaped to be the perfect home job for me whilst being pregnant through 2019/2020 and then working as a stay at home mum. 

After looking at millions of photos taken by incredible photographers for 5 years, I only just realised my newfound career as a photographer last April 2023. I'm self-taught and have always had a creative streak in my blood. Being a people person, I quickly learned I had found my passion. I literally love this job so much. I can't wait to capture everyone's story that wants me to.
