I’m a Lifestyle Photographer who has a deep passion for Family Photography and Property Photography. I am currently based out of Mount Maunganui and Havelock North, New Zealand.
I’m passionate about capturing the quiet beauty in everyday moments. Those fleeting, heartfelt scenes that often go unnoticed. I especially love photographing families, preserving the real, unposed connections that tell their unique story just as it naturally unfolds.
My passion for visual storytelling naturally translates into property photography. I’m drawn to the architectural details, light, and flow that give a home its identity - capturing each space with clarity, depth, and authenticity.
Before photography, most of my career was spent in the real estate industry. I worked in administration, PA and marketing roles supporting high-performing agents - and even held my real estate licence myself (turns out selling houses wasn’t my thing… but the property world absolutely is).
Having worked behind the scenes and within the industry, I understand what agents need and how to present property in a way that connects.
A little about me
I’m relaxed, easy-going, bubbly, honest, professional and always respectful of the people and spaces I photograph.
My little family is my world - Joel, our two children Beau and Aisha, and our beautiful German Shepherd Ziggy... the eldest child.
I was raised on a deer farm in the Kaimais and now fully live and breathe beach life. I’ve also lived and worked in London (which was epic!) and travelled extensively before settling into this season of life back here in beautiful New Zealand.
In 2019, I married Joel and started a business called Gorge after struggling to find a modern album for my own wedding photos. What began as a simple idea turned into the perfect creative outlet while I was pregnant and later navigating life as a stay-at-home mum. Gorge still exists today - you’ll find it in the navigation area if you’d like to explore.
My Photography Story
After years of admiring the work of incredible photographers, something clicked in April 2023 - and I realised this was what I was meant to do.
I’m a self-taught photographer who invested countless hours into learning, refining my craft through online education, experimentation, and real-world experience.
Combining my love for people with my deep understanding of the property industry feels like everything has come full circle.
I genuinely love what I do, and I feel incredibly grateful to call this my work.
I can’t wait to create something beautiful with you.
